The Top 6 Fabrics to Wear in Summer

Cotton

The most common natural fabric is a great staple to have in your closet, especially for the summer. For me is the best material to wear during humid weather.

Cotton fabrics come in a variety of colors and styles, which allows you to find the perfect item for you. It is also affordable and easy to find.

Cotton is one of the best materials to wear in summer because it soaks up sweat and is breathable.

Keep in mind that 100 % cotton does soak up a lot of moisture and it easily becomes stained. If you sweat a lot opt for cotton blended fabric instead. If you choose 100% fabric you can wear darker colors if you are afraid of having stains.

You can also try the of washing your stains out with distilled white vinegar and baking soda. It actually works on getting stains out of your white cotton shirt. I have tried it many times with my white T-shirts.

Although this fabric isn’t made from natural fibers, it remains cool and breathable. It is a blended material that is similar to silk. The only difference is that rayon is a lot more affordable than silk. It also can imitate other fabrics such as cotton and linen.

Rayon is a comfortable fabric which makes it great for sportswear and dresses.

Linen

Linen is a material that light and loosely woven which means it allows heat to escape from your body when worn. It absorbs moisture but dries out quickly. This allows you to stay cool and dry.

The downside with linen is how wrinkle it can get. You can simply get rid of wrinkles by sprinkle water on the linen item and smooth the wrinkles out. That is what I usually do with my linen items.
