African American Christmas Books to Read

I have been looking for holiday books to read. I mostly read mystery books such as Joanna Fluke or Anne Perry. But sometimes I want to read something different. I have been looking for more African-American books to read. I have found some books that sound interesting.

A Christmas to Remember

I found this A Christmas to Remember. The author wrote about several people living in a small town.  Bernadine and her finance Mal have their ups and downs but I still going strong. As their families gather for the wedding, there may not be any wedding. They are not the only ones having relationship problems.

Preston and his girlfriend break up. He is devasted by the breakup.  He then focuses on connecting with his biological dad and hopes that works out better.

Pastor Paula Grant hopes she can have a new relationship too. It may happen with the arrival of the new chef.

Christmas in Rose Bend

A Christmas at Rose Bend is a different kind of Christmas book. This book's main character is Nessa Hunt. She is going on a trip with a cranky sister. Nessa is still dealing with the fact of her mother's death confession.

Her mother told her that she the man who raised her was not her father. Seeking answers, she arrives in this small town called Rose Bend.

While staying at the local inn, she meets the owner's handsome son, Wolfgang. Nessa believes she has no time for romance. She needs to focus on family drama. Which is why she feels she does fit in with Wolfgang's big happy family. But their holiday cheer and love are rubbing on both sisters.

Christmas in Rose Bend

You make it Feel like Christmas has two books. One entitled Rockin Around the Christmas Tree and The Wish.

Bayou Christmas Disappearance

Bayou Christmas Disappearance is about Mona Avery. Mona wants to investigate Dillion Redd's high-profile missing person's case. Reed finds the Mona to be a nuisance, but this does not stop Mona for being involved. This case is personal, and she wants to solve it. Will Reed and Mona find the killer before it is too late.
