Modest Fashion: How to Layer Your Maxi Dresses



My older sister has been a huge supporter of my blog. She not only buys the items I have on my blog, but she also gives me ideas. Recently she told me that she wanted to have seen me do a post about maxi dresses. My big sister also confessed that she wanted to see the dress that she can layer with one of her other favorite staples, a cardigan.

 She loves a good cardigan but I decided to create outfits with jackets and cardigans. I know she and my readers will appreciate a variety of cover-ups she can wear with her maxi dress. I also created casual looks as well as dressier outfits.

 Denim Jackets 

Denim jackets are an excellent jacket to wear in spring with dresses. Most traditionally wear a blue denim jacket but sometimes it is good to try something different. That is why I added a red denim jacket with a black v-neck maxi dress.

You can also forget about the suede boots and opt for these sandals instead.

Cardigans 

I have a collection of cardigans but my favorite will always be a button up cardigan. I know this is also one of the most common cardigans that other women may also have in their closet. I choose to put this cardigan with a gingham dress because they make a classic pair.
