 You may maybe try to figure out what are the trends for summer? You may be searching your closet to see what if there is anything you have that is out of style. Or maybe you are shopping for the summer trends to add to your closet.

 Today I am focusing on some of the trends that may be tricker to wear. You know the trends that may have you shaking your head about. So let's explore these tricky trends for summer 2019 and tips on how to wear each of them. 






Ultra Feminine Detailing 
What is hard about this trend is making it look more adult.  Ruffles, bows, and pearl embellished items don't sometimes seem age appropriate. However, you can dress down these ultra girly trends with your favorite denim shorts, or jeans.

What is hard about this trend is finding the right colors to wear with it. These sunny like colors would look wonderful with neutrals if you want a more natural look. Neutrals provide a nice contrast to colors like Living Coral.

According to past runaway looks designers are moving away from the free-flowing midi dress options.  Designers are now going for more tailored looks. 

 You may feel that a tailored fashion is not your style. Especially if you think it would be too button up or masculine. Tailor fashion does not have to be just for business only. 

 Office style looks do not have to be boring. You can wear tailored clothing in bold colors. You also wear different prints like polka dots or stripes. 
If you have your misgivings about tailored clothing not being in your size if you are plus, don't worry. Retailers are now having more tailored fashion that is flattering for plus size women as well.  Now all women can embrace their boss style this summer and

You can wear these bright colors with neutrals. Or you pick one of the many colors in your outfit and use that color as your base color.

  To dress the brights down you can also pair with one of your wardrobe staples. Like added your denim jacket over your ombre sleeveless top or dress.

Tie Dye fashion used to be just for the 70s or for a summer camp project. For these very reasons, some people may feel this trend to be juvenile.  Now that it has made a comeback in fashion you can find other ways to style this trend. You can wear your traditional tie-dye tie shirt or opt for more formal tie-dye looks. 


If you are wearing a tie-dye fashion you can go minimalist with your accessories and shoes. This allows the tie-dye piece to make a statement. It also provides juxtaposition.
