I finally solved my problem of what I was going to wear for my cousin's wedding, but it took a while (trying on a lot of dresses!).

For those who are still looking for an outfit to wear to a spring or summer wedding this year I have found different looks, dresses, and accessories.

In this post, I will explain what to wear for various wedding venues you may be invited.

1. Formal Wedding

When going to a formal wedding gowns are usually standard. Get a gown in any style you like. For a complete glam look, you can wear a trumpet style dress. If you love a more classic style, you can never go wrong with a sheath dress.

Whatever you pick make sure you feel comfortable in it. If you wear a full gown dress, please make sure the hem is correct. It should just touch the floor and not be too long that you can trip.

No one once to fall face down at a wedding (or period)!

You may be able to wear a cocktail dress if a ball gown is something you don't desire. Pair with a cute pair of heels and a clutch bag.

If you get invited to a more formal wedding. This outfit is perfect for you. Just make sure that your bride does not mind you wearing red.

This dress is not only stunning but also has pockets. You can finally have a beautiful dress that allows you carry some items in it.

2. Cocktail Dress

A Cocktail wedding is formal yet casual. think semi-formal. It meant to strike the balance between a day event and night event. Think of going to a garden party but make it look chic. Most dresses are knee length, midi, or tea length

A jumpsuit is also appropriate for this wedding. You can wear it with heels or flats.

Always think about the venue or theme of the wedding. This will help you to figure out what to wear. The invitation can also provide clues on what to expect.

This dress is perfect if the wedding is earlier in the day. For a night to wedding choose more darker or a sequin or glitter dress. When in doubt you could always wear a black and white look
You could also wear this dress to a wedding that is in a garden too.
