What to do on the Weekends
I treat my weekends like a mini vacation. I usually stay off social media or do work on Saturday and Sunday. I also don’t run errands on those days and manage to do everything I can.
This may seem hard for some, but it is the only way to keep myself from burning out or dreading Monday!
Do self-care

One thing you can do on the weekend is to do a little self-care
I deep condition and wash my hair on the weekends. It does not seem much to some to do, but if you have natural hair like I do, it is a big deal.
I spend hours conditioning, washing, and applying leave-in conditioner. I also moisturize my hair and then braid it. This seems like a lot of work, but I felt better when my hair is nice, neat, and clean. There are so many other things you can do to take care of your body. It could be resting, napping, or taking care of your physical appearance. It could also indicate avoiding the use of social media. Do whatever would help your physical or mental health.
Eat a good breakfast
Throughout the week, you might not find the time to have a nutritious breakfast. Most people I know don’t have time to get breakfast at all before they leave for work or school.
But on the weekends, you may have time to eat breakfast at home or go out for breakfast.
One of my favorite weekend meals! This isn’t how I eat all the time, so don’t worry!
Take advantage of this time to enjoy a balanced meal and reconnect with loved ones. Just take time to enjoy your meal and the people you are.
Go Outside
Take advantage of this opportunity to step outside and enjoy the weather if you’ve been stuck indoors at your office, home, or school.
Last Sunday, I had the opportunity to appreciate the weather. My mother and I took a walk downtown. Not only did I get some exercise, but I also used this time to look at the beautiful scenery. I took some pictures of course of some of the flowers I saw that have bloomed.
By planning ahead and finding the perfect spot, you might have the opportunity to take pictures. During your walk notice the sights, the sounds, and lovely aromas of the plant life around you.
