Essie has always been my go-to nail polish brand. The reason is because of the colors in their collections. They have a variety of colors to choose from. More than any other nail polishes don't have.

When I found out Valentine's Day Collection, I wanted to buy it. I did not buy the whole collection. That would have been expensive to buy 9 colors.

I decided to buy one color. I usually get pink, purple, or red. Because of Valentine's Day, I picked red.

The color I picked is called I Am the Moment. It is a mid-tone wine-colored nail polish. According to Essie, it is a color that uplifting.

The name Am the Moment is a self-love affirmation. All of the colors in the collection are named after self-love affirmations.

Review of Am the Moment
When first applying the polish, it looks redder than wine.  It dries fairly quickly. But after the polish dries it is darker.

It still has shine days after using it. What I like about this polish is that you don't have to re-apply more than twice.  It is a topcoat and base coat.

I also like how the polish does not have a strong scent. It may be because this collection is organic and vegan-friendly. It is 80 percent plant-free. The ingredients are derived from cotton, corn, and sugarcane.

The cap is made from 93% recycled plastic, excluding brush and stem. The bottle is made from 25% recycled glass.

Conclusion:

Overall, I really like this color and the shine. I also love how easy it is to apply. What I like the best are the names of the polishes. If "am the moment" is not your favorite there are 8 other colors. Each of the colors cost $11.99 at Target.

I know to some it is expensive, but it is a nail polish that lasts longer than others. Essie also has more colors than most brands. The price is also higher because it is a holiday collection.
